I'm Natalie Staggs, your Stinkin'Cute groomer. I look forward to meeting you and your cuties!

I'm a native of the Dallas area, though I spent  many years pursuing my creative passions as a costume designer, artist, and musician in the Pacific Northwest. I attended the University of Oregon and received my bachelors degree in 2013. Since then I've worked in theater, ballet, opera, and community art.

Throughout the years I have embraced countless creative opportunities, various tools and materials. I'm still a practicing painter. My passion for working with my hands continues to inspire my work as a dog groomer, allowing me to use my unique vision and eye for style to make your dogs look beautiful.

I recently returned to Texas to be closer to my family and support my parents.  This presented me with an opportunity for a new career path. I was looking for a great job where I could utilize my skills and work experience, but also something that was flexible so I could stay close to home where I look after my Dad. As if by fate or sheer accident, I have become a groomer and I absolutely love it.

In Spring 2024, while still seeking that perfect job, I began grooming dogs in a spare room in my house. I started with family and friends, and eventually I began offering services to neighbors. I realized there is a great need for good, affordable groomers in almost every neighborhood.

I decided to get trained up, and I learned the basics of the industry over 6 months working at a corporate grooming center. Many groomers are expensive because of high overhead costs, from staffing to space rental. They also focus on doing many dogs a day as quickly as possible. This creates a level of stress that permeates the working environment, and it causes stress to the dogs as well. Often times the dogs will spend hours in a kennel when their actual services only take an hour or two.

I quickly realized that I wanted to create my own unique, no-fuss experience for my clients and knew exactly how to move forward.

I remodeled my one-car garage to create a safe and professional salon. In January of 25, I finished the Stinkin'Cute Salon! I was able to leave the grind and begin operating my business at home full time. I'm having a blast getting to know returning and new clients alike! I'm now working diligently to build up a clientele and add to my pack of happy, clean, and beautiful customers.

I work with each dog individually and rarely need to use the kennels. Your cutie is only here for their time of service. I offer a relaxed experience, and we take the time we need so the dog is comfortable and safe. You will notice the difference here when you pick up a happy, beautiful, and relaxed pup!
